Beecroft Saturday Ladies Badge Team
With our Autumn competition nearing an end we hoped for a combination of some luck and good management to keep us at the top of ladder. On the 26th June we needed to play Western Suburbs rather than share the points in a washout. Obviously Western Suburbs hoped for a washout as they later had to reveal that they were short of team members. Thank you Ken Harrison and Bob Cottee for making the decision for us to play and for also preparing the courts. Louise and Jan managed to win one set and lost the other in a tie break. Dianne and Val won both their sets comfortably and with our ability to gain the forfeited sets we had a 7 sets and 47 game victory over Western Suburbs with one set and 9 games. Well done team.
